We purchased our Cruise Lite 241QBXL in September of 2019 with hopes of camping throughout deer season as well as a beach trip with our faithful companion of 15 years nearing the end of her life.
Unfortunately our nightmare began during the pickup process and every step of the way trying to get the NEW trailer fixed and functional. It began at Gander Outdoors here in Augusta GA. and became a nightmare along the way. After waiting for months we finally got to take it in for repairs which was an unbelievable experience to say the least. After 2 weeks for the one week repairs we were presented with a trailer that was in worse condition than before the "repairs" Full details coming as well as pictures.
Now we are in contact with Forest River Customer Service and are assured by Matt Firm that he will get us in at a preferred service facility in Alabama and we will get our trailer fixed right and cleaned/detailed and delivered as a NEW trailer that we should have had in the beginning. What we received were some good repairs and some items not addressed that were detailed to them. Unfortunately some repairs were not to standards and down right sloppy. We also received a filthy trail inside and out with signs of running off the road during transport and a damaged black water drain valve.
We also received a replacement battery for the one destroyed by Gander. Unfortunate that it is a 405 CCA battery in place of our 500CCA. Also 100 amp hours vs our original of 130 amp hours.
